I am a Christian-adjacent, panentheist UU, influenced by Science of the Mind and Atheist authors, supported by Womanist and Process theology to make sense of the world, my place in it, and my relationship with and experience of the Divine.

Spiritual Practice
Play and curiosity are important parts of my spirituality and spiritual practice. I ground myself daily with the lighting of my candle and blowing bubbles.
Ministry in the Public Square
Dr. Cornel West said, “Justice is what love looks like in public,” and many of our congregations embody that statement.
I was an activist before undertaking ministerial training. I became involved in human rights activism in 2006 and have since become an out lesbian activist, working with the noted attorney and human rights activist Maurice Tomlinson and others in Jamaica and the US.
My public ministry is also found in my writings. I'm the author of Funny Gyal: My Fight Against Homophobia in Jamaica, a 2023 Lambda Literary Finalist in the Young Adult category.
